This is our Photo Gallery page, for display of our cutest puppy pictures, and also for display of the pictures that Bologco buyers will eventually send to us.
The very light colored puppy to the right is from our very first Bologco litter, from our black and white Cocker girl named VeVe, and our Bichon Bolognese male named Guido, and so far this is the puppy that looks the most like Guido. We love his "Teddy Bear" look, with his dark eyes and nose, and this boy has an incredibly soft coat, that we think will eventually curl.
The puppies shown below were our second litter of Bologcos, from our black sable and white girl named Riqui, who is now retired to a pet home, and we were very surprised that they were all light colored, as we had a black puppy in the first litter. And all of the Bologco pups loved to sleep on their backs.
So cute!
This black boy with four white feet and a small white blaze gave no indication until he was about ten weeks old that he had a silvery gray undercoat.
But if you look closely you can just see the beginning of the gray color surrounding his eyes, which is where silvering usually begins to show on a puppy that has inherited the silvering gene.
Every Bologco pup that we have ever had has the adorable curled over tail, just like their sire.
Occasionally posing puppies is easy, as when the lightest little girl from Riqui's litter posed for us like a little princess.
But taking puppy pictures mostly consists of keeping the puppies from chewing up the props, while hoping to get that great picture that will show the essence of the pup.
And even though this apricot colored boy is "chewing up the scenery," we love his big dark eyes.
And then there are those pictures that are so cute that they just give you a belly laugh!
This little girl is from Riqui's litter, and she seemed to love having her picture taken.
Our Thanksgiving 2007 litter from our Cocker girl named Vallina was a big surprise, as we had such a wide range of colors in it, from light cream to black masked sables.
The picture above is of this litter playing out in one of our puppy kennels, which are paved and roofed over for protection of the puppies.
Daisy is a cream colored girl from our Thanksgiving litter that now lives with her family in Yankeetown, Florida, but she was more interested in playing with the props for her pictures than in posing for the pictures themselves.
But this cute little black masked sable boy was a bit more cooperative.
Molly is an apricot colored girl that lives with her family in Jacksonville, Florida, and we just love her beautiful coloring. She is shown here at about five months old.
And Tucker is also an apricot Bologco, and he lives with his family in Navarre, Florida. He is shown just below at Christmas 2007 at about four months old.
And Sophie is also an apricot Bologco, and she lives with her family in Gainesville, Florida. She is shown just below at Christmas 2007 at about six months old.
And below is another picture of Sophie with "friends." Bologcos get along very well with other dogs.
We'll be adding pictures to this page from time to time, as an especially cute one happens, and we will certainly add any pictures that puppy buyers send to us of their more grown up Bologcos.
